20070729 EURJPY moves to the low of 162.5 from the breakdown point of 168.4-5 area. Unwinding of the carry trade could be the trigger of this type of move. Nevertheless, with a mindset of a down trend in place after the break of the triangle, a trader can trade on the right side of the trend move and reap the benefits these 1 1/2 weeks.

20070723 0836 GMT. With the assumption that we are now in a trend for the EURJPY cross rate, how can we best tackele where to enter in the trend? Moving down to the 30 min chart might be an idea, with the 20 and 100 moving averages providing the levels. RSI readings of overbought may also be a red flag to get ready to short.

20070720 EURJPY spot forex closes below the 89 exp moving average. Would be expecting a pullback to this level, then look for clues from the MACD histogram for the short trade again. When the exchange rate falls below the key 89 exp moving average, the assumption here is for the downtrend to start, unless proven otherwise.

20070705 1439 GMT. A short trade on the EURUSD (at the horizontal line). This illustrates the importance of trading wen the price leads the entry decision, confirmed by the indicator. Beginners are taught to buy low, sell high, sell high, buy back lower. However, this trade illustrates that trading with the momentum is another viable strategy.
